SCU Motorsport delivered a Race Car Set-Up Masterclass to UTC Oxfordshire. We used Augmented Reality to demonstrate how to perform set-up tasks on a race car and then asked them to perform the tasks on a real car – the outcome was achieved, the students did not need any additional guidance and set the equipment up correctly and performed all tasks correctly. The masterclass was to demonstrate the new learning and assessment methodologies that SCU Motorsport are developing to make learning more engaging and accessible. All of the students stated they found the approach more engaging, and Neurodiverse students stated that they found it easier to understand the content
